Who we are
Secure Insurance is the independent insurance practice of James Beckstrom, a licensed insurance agent. This policy covers the website you're on now and the Medicare/ACA intake form linked from it.
Information we collect
When you use our "Get a Quote" intake form, we collect what you choose to enter, which may include your name, date of birth, contact details, address, household and income information, current coverage, and health-related details such as doctors, prescriptions, and anticipated care needs. Health information is provided voluntarily by you so we can shop for and compare plans on your behalf — it is never required to browse this site.
When you book an appointment through our scheduling link, the scheduling provider collects the details needed to set up that meeting (name, contact information, and appointment time). That booking page operates under its own provider's privacy terms.
We also use a free, no-API-key address lookup service (OpenStreetMap Nominatim) to help auto-fill your city, state, and county as you type your address on the intake form. Only the text you've typed is sent to that service to find a match — you can skip this and type your address manually instead.
How we use your information
- To research, compare, and recommend Marketplace (ACA), Medicare, small business, supplemental, or annuity products suited to your situation.
- To contact you by phone, text, or email about your request, using the method(s) you tell us you prefer.
- To meet the recordkeeping and compliance obligations that apply to licensed insurance agents.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising, and we don't share it with anyone outside of what's needed to get you a quote or enroll you in coverage you've asked about — for example, an insurance carrier you've asked us to check pricing with.
Not an application for insurance
Filling out the intake form does not enroll you in any health plan and is not an application for coverage. It's simply how we gather the details needed to research options and follow up with you.
How your submission reaches us
Form submissions are transmitted securely and delivered directly to James Beckstrom. We keep submissions only as long as needed to assist you, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.
Cookies & tracking
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Google Fonts is used for typography and may load fonts from Google's servers when you visit.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of phone, text, or email contact whenever you'd like.
