Who we are
JRB Insurance LLC is the independent insurance practice of James Beckstrom, a licensed insurance agent. James is also a Registered Social Security Analyst®. This policy covers the website you're on now and every intake form linked from it, including the Social Security analysis request.
Information we collect
When you use our "Get a Quote" intake form, we collect what you choose to enter, which may include your name, date of birth, contact details, address, household and income information, current coverage, and health-related details such as doctors, prescriptions, and anticipated care needs. Health information is provided voluntarily by you so we can shop for and compare plans on your behalf — it is never required to browse this site.
When you book an appointment through our scheduling link, the scheduling provider collects the details needed to set up that meeting (name, contact information, and appointment time). That booking page operates under its own provider's privacy terms.
We also use a free, no-API-key address lookup service (OpenStreetMap Nominatim) to help auto-fill your city, state, and county as you type your address on the intake form. Only the text you've typed is sent to that service to find a match — you can skip this and type your address manually instead.
How we use your information
- To research, compare, and recommend Marketplace (ACA), Medicare, small business, supplemental, or annuity products suited to your situation.
- To prepare a Social Security claiming analysis when you request one, using the earnings information and statement you provide.
- To contact you by phone, text, or email about your request, using the method(s) you tell us you prefer.
- To meet the recordkeeping and compliance obligations that apply to licensed insurance agents.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising, and we don't share it with anyone outside of what's needed to get you a quote or enroll you in coverage you've asked about — for example, an insurance carrier you've asked us to check pricing with.
Social Security numbers
We do not collect Social Security numbers through this website, and none of our online forms ask for one. A Social Security number isn't needed to research plans, compare pricing, or prepare an analysis — it's only required at the point of application. When we reach that stage, we collect it directly with you, either verbally or through the insurance carrier's own secure enrollment system. This keeps your Social Security number out of email and off this website entirely.
If you ever receive a message that appears to come from us asking you to email or text your Social Security number, please don't — call us at 888-774-5220 to verify first.
Not an application for insurance
Filling out the intake form does not enroll you in any health plan and is not an application for coverage. It's simply how we gather the details needed to research options and follow up with you.
How your submission reaches us
Form submissions are transmitted securely and delivered directly to James Beckstrom. We keep submissions only as long as needed to assist you, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.
Saved contact details on your own device
To save you retyping the same information, our intake forms remember basic contact details — name, date of birth, phone, email, and address — in your own web browser after you submit a form. If you later open a different form on the same device, those fields are filled in for you and a notice appears at the top telling you so.
This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and is not shared with anyone, until you actually submit a form. Only basic contact details are saved this way — never health information, coverage answers, or financial details. You can erase it at any time by clicking "Not me / clear" on that notice, or by clearing your browser data.
Cookies & tracking
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Google Fonts is used for typography and may load fonts from Google's servers when you visit.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of phone, text, or email contact whenever you'd like.
SMS/Text Messaging
We collect your mobile phone number either when you submit it through a form on this website, or verbally, with your consent, during a scheduled consultation.
If you opt in, we may text you about:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Requests for documents needed to complete an application
- Enrollment status updates
- Replies to questions you've asked us
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
